To the west of the Terrace lies the West Garden, a beautiful arboretum of majestic trees and choice shrubs planted in the 19th century.

This leafy haven is a place of beauty and discovery, bursting with color in both spring and autumn.

In spring, the grass is carpeted with daffodils followed by rhododendrons and many other shrubs coming into bloom.

With the Courtyard Café offering delicious home-grown goodies to takeaway a few steps away, the open glades are perfect for a summer picnic!

By late September, the West Garden transforms again, with rich autumn hues lighting up the landscape through November. And as deep winter approaches, thousands of snowdrops emerge, covering the lower parts of the garden and offering a serene experience in the colder months.
