A self-guided visit to Harewood is the perfect option if you wish to meet specific learning goals, or simply treat your class to a lovely day out.

Minimum group size: 10 students with the exception of SEND groups
Maximum group size: we have a maximum capacity of 5 coaches on site per day.
Please check in with the Learning Team if you’re planning a large group visit of 50 or more.
Walk around the House at your own pace, visit our Sylvascope on the North Front or take a scenic stroll across the Lakeside Woodland Gardens – not forgetting the thrills of the Adventure Playground*!

An expert guide will take your students on a journey of exploration and discovery, learning the challenging history of colonial botany and how imperial themes can still be seen in Harewood’s gardens today.
