Claire is a fundraiser who has worked for more than twenty five years within the charitable and heritage sector.

Eighteen years of heading up a Development team at the Royal Armouries involved all aspects of fundraising from donor cultivation and securing 6 and 7 figure sums for capital projects to running high-profile events and working with corporate partners at the Royal Armouries Museum Leeds, Fort Nelson in Hampshire and the White Tower at the Tower of London.

Claire left the Armouries in September 2023 to join the Harewood House Trust as Head of Development where she was a team of 1 for six months laying the foundations for capital fundraising by re-establishing fundraising across the sectors from statutory and trust fundraising through corporate partnership and membership, right down to visitor donations.
