Join us for a two-part workshop inspired by the breathtaking work of J. M. W. Turner, designed to help young people develop a strong portfolio of art techniques in preparation for their GCSEs.

Led by an experienced art teacher, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore the techniques of one of Britain’s greatest landscape artists while honing your own creative skills.

Session 1: Sunday 29 June

Step into the world of Turner with an inspiring visit to Austen and Turner: A Country House Encounter exhibition.

Young artists will sketch and photograph the landscape, experimenting with Turner’s techniques to capture mood, light, and texture.

Session 2: Sunday 6 June

Using the insights from Session 1, participants will create their own Turner-inspired masterpiece, building confidence and creativity in their artistic journey.

This workshop is a fantastic opportunity to grow as an artist while building a portfolio that stands out.
