In early summer we'll reopen a footpath from the Courtyard to the Lakeside, as we begin reimagining this part of the site.
We’re transforming the Gardens south of the Courtyard, including the former Bird Garden, to create beautiful new landscapes and restore historic pathways connecting the House to the Lakeside and beyond.
This project isn’t just about offering stunning, contemporary Gardens for visitors to enjoy; it’s also about boosting biodiversity at Harewood. By planting species that provide excellent habitats, we’re creating a haven for birds, insects, and other wildlife.
A highlight will be the new South Garden Walk, designed to support native wildlife.
Visitors can look forward to spotting woodland and water birds, red kites, otters, and more in this thriving natural environment.
